One can take the route from Tambaram via Kishkinta to reach Somangalam. The better alternative is to take the road from Pallavaram going to Kunrathur.  Temple info -2298 கோயில் தகவல் -2298 Sirkazhi Nageswaramudayar Temple:  This is another famous Shiva Temple in Sirkazhi, though the number of visitors is much lesser than in the Sattainathar Temple. We are visiting the temple of Shri Punnagavalli Amman Sametha Shri Nageswaram Udayar Temple.  It is around 1 Km from Sirkazhi bus stand.  The temple is open from 7 to 11 am and from 4 to 8 pm.  The contact number is 094437 85862.  The sthala vruksham is Neem (Vembu) and the theertham is the west flowing Kazhumala Nadhi near the temple. Surprisingly, despite being located in Sirkazhi, there are no Thevarams sung on this Lord.  Hence it does not find a place in the list of 276 Paadal Petra Sthalams.
