 Temple info -3174 கோயில் தகவல்-3174 Sri Kalyana Kamakshi Udanurai Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple, Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu This Temple is moreso called as Kalyana Kamakshi Temple by the Devotees. It is situated in a narrow street in  a residential locality  known as Kottai in Dharmapuri Town. It is said that this Temple had been built during the 8th century. It is a East facing Temple but it has another entrance on the South too. There is no Rajagopuram for this Temple. A stone Dwajasthambam could be seen as Devotees enter through the East entrance. A Nandhi Vahanam facing West towards the Moolasthanam is seen in a four pillared Mandapam. Beyond this is the Artha Mandapam which is a Architectural wonder. This Mandapam has few pillars and one of these pillars is stuck to the ceiling in a normal manner but the bottom of this pillar is not grounded to the floor but stands a few centimeters above the flooring similar to that of the Lepakshi Temple in Andhra Pradesh, Belur ...
