The temple is located near Thavittu Chanthai. Presiding Deity is called as Navaneetha Krishnan and Mother is called as Mahalakshmi. The Temple  Presiding Deity is called as Navaneetha Krishnan. The Nava Tirupathis are in Thoothukudi district. Those visiting these places may visit Marudhur Navaneethakrishnan temple also. All these places are close to Thirunelveli.
