 Temple info -1453  கோயில் தகவல் -1453 Nataraja Temple in Neyveli Neyveli is a cosmopolitan city with people from all religions living in that small township. There are temples for Lord Krishna, Lord, Ayappa, Lord Murugan, Lord Nataraja  in Neyveli. Of these, the Nataraja temple is well known for the metal statue of Lord Shiva as Nataraja, which is the biggest statue in the world. The temple is believed to find its place in the Guinness Book of Records as its height is 10 feet 1 inch with a base of 8 feet 4 inch and a weight of 2,420 kilograms. There is an idol of Godess Sivakami measuring 7 feet in height and 750 kilograms in weight.  Temple info -207 கோயில் தகவல் -207 Villudayanpattu Siva Subramania Swamy Temple, Neyveli, Cuddalore Villudayanpattu Siva Subramania Swamy Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Murugan located in Neyveli Town Ship in Cuddalore District of Tamil Nadu. It is believed to be more than 800 years old. Though the Temple was under the control of Tamil Nadu HRCE, but the temple was maintained by Neyveli NLC Corporation. Etymology In general Lord Murugan has spear in his hand, but in the Neyveli temple he was holding the bow, signifying that he assumed the role of a hunter. Hence, the temple was popularly known as Villudayanpattu Murugan temple. However, over the period of time it had come to be known as Veludayanpattu Murugan temple.
