It is around 16 km from Nalgonda town and 80 km from Hyderabad. It is around 6-8 kms from the Hyderabad-Vijayawada Highway after taking right at Narketpalli while going from Hyderabad towards Vijayawada. The temple is on a small hill and can be reached by both walk using around 365 steps and vehicle which takes you very close to the temple. The Garbhagruham(Main temple) is in between rocks and one has to pass through those to reach the temple which has the Siva lingam. There are also Three major ‘gundus’ (shiva lingas) spread around the main temple and there is one on top of a rock which can be reached by very small iron steps and elderly people may find it difficult to reach there.
