The magnificent Siali Mahadev Temple located in Manali, Himachal Pradesh is a sightseeing. This is one of the oldest temples in this hill station. This temple known for its beautiful architecture is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This holds great religious importance to devotees of Lord Shiva. It is located among the tall green cedar trees and has green mountain peaks in the background. Tourists sure enjoy the peace and quiet this place. The most interesting aspect of this temple is that it contains a self-shivling, which is said to have been at this place since ancient times.

According to legends, the Shivlinga worshipped in this temple are Swayambhu and have been here for centuries. Therefore, it is very worshipable among the devotees of Lord Shiva. There is a small temple behind the Siali Mahadev temple. It is believed that Lord Shiva and Devi Parvati were appeared on earth by a tree's bark, where this small temple has been built. The architecture of the Siali Mahadev temple is one of its most special features. Its architecture is a mixture of chalet and pagoda architectural style. The best example of this unique mix can be put looking at the top of the temple. The first style has been used in the upper front of the temple, while the second style has been used in the back. The temple has a wooden structure, the foundation of which has been strengthened. The temple has four levels of shivalayas situated on one side while two small shivalayas are at the top of the other two levels. *ஒரு மரத்தின் பட்டையிலிருந்து சிவபெருமானும் பார்வதி தேவியும் பூமிக்குத் தோன்றியதாக நம்பப்படுகிறது, அந்த இடத்தில்தான் இந்தக் சிறிய கோவில் கட்டப்பட்டுள்ளது. சியாலி மகாதேவர் கோவிலின் கட்டிடக்கலை, சாலட் மற்றும் பகோடா கட்டிடக்கலை பாணிகளின் கலவையாகும்.*
