*Arulmigu Sri Anandavalli Ambigai Sametha Sri Chandrasekhara Swamy Temple, Atthani village, Anthiyur Taluk, Erode District*

In the front, (with Adishesha providing shade) in the form of a small self-manifested Lingam, and at the back,

in a standing posture with our Parasakthi,

our beloved Lord grants his divine darshan in the form of an idol.

It is a blissful experience to behold Him.

According to a historical event;

(In ancient times)

the Lord of this temple manifested as a self-originated Lingam,

and (in later times)

He appeared as an idol along with his consort.

Those who have been affected by adulteration in goods,

and those who have been betrayed by broken trust,

can sincerely worship the Lord of this temple,

seek justice,

and are certain to receive favorable results.

Among the many ancient Shiva temples that are not widely known to devotees from outside the local area,

this small temple is one of those that have recently undergone significant renovations.

In this sacred temple, where the

Maha Shivaratri festival in the month of Masi and

the Thiruvathirai festival in the month of Margazhi are celebrated with great fervor,

the Monday worship performed for a good life partner and marital harmony,

and the Pradosham worship performed for the prosperity of agriculture and the well-being of livestock,

are among the special features of this temple.

ஒரு வரலாற்று நிகழ்விபடி;

சுயம்பு லிங்கமூர்த்தியாகவும்,

(பிற்காலத்தில்)

தம்பதி சமேதராக 

விக்ரக மூர்த்தியாகவும்

வந்தமர்ந்தவராம் இத்தல ஈசனார்.

பொருளில் கலப்படம் செய்பவர்களினாலும்,

நம்பிக்கை துரோகம் செய்பவர்களினாலும்

பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள்

இத்தல இறைவனிடம்

உளமார வழிபட்டு

நீதி கேட்பதும்,

அதற்கு நற்பலன் கிடைப்பதும் நிச்சயமாம்.

உள்ளூர் மக்களைத் தவிர, வெளியூர் பக்தர்களால் அதிகம் அறியப்படாத பல பழமையான சிவாலயங்களில்,

சமீப காலத்தில் சிறப்பாக திருப்பணிகள் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ள இச்சிறு திருக்கோயிலும் ஒன்று.

தம்பதியர் கருத்தொற்றுமை கூடிடவும் நடைபெறும் திங்கள் வழிபாடும்,

விவசாயம் செழித்திடவும், கால்நடைகளின் நலம் பேணிடவும்
