Years old beliefs are still alive in the ancient temples located in the Bundelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh. This temple of Hanuman Lala sitting in Bakayan village on the Chhatarpur road of Damoh district is said to be many years old.

27 km away from the district headquarters in Bakayan village, there is a famous temple of Imla Hanuman ji, where every wish is fulfilled by visiting Hanuman Lala's court on 5 Tuesdays. After the wishes are fulfilled, the devotees perform Kapoor Mahaarti according to the tradition here, which has been going on for 110 years. Mahaarti features that it happens only on Tuesdays and Saturdays, which many kg of Kapoor is used to do.

The tradition of hoisting flag and chola to Hanuman Ji Maharaj on second and sixth day of the week i.e. Tuesday and Saturday is still alive. The place where Hanuman ji is sitting, there used to be a crematorium. Where a large number of dates and tamarind trees were planted. Many years ago a Saint Mahajan Das came. They rested here at night. Then he had a dream that there is a Hanuman ji's statue. As soon as the morning, the saint told this to the villagers and *on digging under the tamarind tree, the statue of Hanuman ji came out from under the tamarind tree. Since then this place was known as Hanuman temple of Imla. *

மத்தியப் பிரதேசத்தின் புந்தேல்கண்ட் பகுதியில் அமைந்துள்ள பழங்கால கோயில்களில் பல வருட நம்பிக்கைகள் இன்னும் உயிருடன் உள்ளன. தாமோ மாவட்டத்தின் சத்தர்பூர் சாலையில் உள்ள பகாயன் கிராமத்தில் அமைந்துள்ள ஹனுமான் லாலாவின் இந்த கோயில் பல ஆண்டுகள் பழமையானது என்று கூறப்படுகிறது.

பகாயன் கிராமத்தில் உள்ள மாவட்ட தலைமையகத்திலிருந்து 27 கி.மீ தொலைவில், இம்லா ஹனுமான் ஜியின் புகழ்பெற்ற கோயில் உள்ளது, அங்கு 5 செவ்வாய்க்கிழமைகளில் ஹனுமான் லாலாவின் அரசவைக்குச் செல்வதன் மூலம் ஒவ்வொரு விருப்பமும் நிறைவேறும். விருப்பங்கள் நிறைவேறிய பிறகு, பக்தர்கள் 110 ஆண்டுகளாக நடந்து வரும் இங்குள்ள பாரம்பரியத்தின் படி கபூர் மகாரத்தி செய்கிறார்கள்.  மகா ஆர்த்தியில் செவ்வாய் மற்றும் சனிக்கிழமைகளில் மட்டுமே இது நடக்கும் என்றும், பல கிலோ கபூர்கள் இதைச் செய்வது வழக்கம் என்றும் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
