Theme Park with a Spiritual Twist

This theme park, which is spread out over a 15-acre plot with lush green lawns, took more than a decade to develop from concept to completion, thanks to the dedication and hard work of hundreds of artists and artisans from all over the country. Finally, in the historical city of Vizianagaram, the City of Music, it has become a reality.

The PRANGANAM’s design is based on our ancient architecture and preserves Hindu mythology. Green colour provides great relief to tired eyes, and the incredible variety of flora and fauna at this theme park provides great comfort to all visitors.

It is the country’s first theme park based on the Valimiki Ramayana, and it is also the first to operate without accepting donations.

The two-story structure is shaped like a bow and arrow. Rare and sacred trees of Nakshatra vanam, Narayana vanam, Raasi vanam, Navagraha vanam, Vinayaka vanam, Saptarishi vanam, Panchavati vanam, Pancha bhoota vanam can be found in the landscape.

The park is open to visitors from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., but the best time to visit is in the evening. The colourful illumination of the entire area will give us the impression that we have arrived in heaven at that time. Beautiful mega fountains line the length of the bow, and the gentle touch of the cool evening breeze will rejuvenate you. Sri seetharamula adhyatmika kala thoranam (A/C) is a large Mandapam where Sri seetharamula kalyanam is performed on the eve of Punarvasu nakshatra (Lord Rama’s Birth star) every month. Aside from that, special poojas and programmes related to Indian performing arts are held on a regular basis.

For the elderly and disabled, there are lifts and battery-operated cars available at the entrance.

The two-story bow and arrow structure can be entered from one end to reach a centrally air-conditioned complex with a series of Ramayana sculptures. Thousands of skilled artisans from across the country collaborated to create 72 laminated sculptures.

Within the complex, you’ll find a traditional Vishnu temple.The PRANAGANAM has a large library that contains over one lakh spiritual books. Visitors can spend their time there browsing through books and attending cultural events.
