Temple info -3490 கோயில் தகவல்-3490 Sri Subramaniya Swamy Temple, Sunguvarchatram, Near Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu Previous Next Sri Subramania Swamy Temple or Sri Murugan Temple is located at a place called Molachur or Molasur in Sunguvarchatram. The full Name of the Temple is Sri Valli Devasena Samedha Sri Subramaniya Swami Temple. This Temple is located on the main road and the Temple has a five tiered North facing Rajagopuram in which a Spear or Vel is embossed. Devotees may have to climb 7 or 8 steps to reach the level of the Temple premises. There are two massive wooden doors on which the Arupadai Veedu have been etched. Beneath the Rajagopuram there is a Sub Shrine on the left in which the Idol of Sri Rajaganapathy is seen. To the right is the Sub Shrine of Sri Bala Murugan and both these Sub Shrines are North facing. This Temple does not have a Dwajasthambam or Kodi Maram.
