 Pinnathur Sivan Temple, Thiruvarur District, Thiruthuraipoondi Taluk, Pinnathur 

This Pinnathur is located 15 km away on the Thiruthuraipoondi-Muthuppettai road. There is a custom to call the Punnai tree as Pinnai tree, so the town with dense Pinnai trees is Pinnathur. 

Pinnathur In the past, Kuthambai Siddhar visited many Shiva temples and came to Pinnathur. At that time, he was saddened to see that there was no Shiva temple in this town and prayed to the Lord. Seeing this sight, he was moved and prayed to the Lord to sit here. The Lord also sits there in the form of a beautiful Linga. This is the Lord of this place, Kailaya Nath. 

To overcome the deficiency of the absence of a goddess, Kuthambai Siddhar invokes Goddess Parvati with a flower. She is the Goddess of this place, Pushpaleswari.

 Over time, the local people created and installed here the gods of Vinayagar and Murugan. The pond on the north side of this temple was created by Kuthambai Siddhar. Since it is a swayambu murti, it is a place for the removal of all sins. Those who do business with flowers can worship the goddess here and achieve business development,

The temple faces east, there is no rajagopuram on the facade, there are only beautiful carvings of Ammaiyappan. Vinayagar is in a small temple along the bank of the pond. 

The god has a temple facing east. The goddess has a sanctum facing south. There is a Nandi altar in a separate hall in front of the god. When coming to the right of the prakara, Thenmugan is in a koshta and Durga is in a koshta on the north. 

Sanctum construction The construction of the Chola period has seen some changes after undergoing many renovations.  The aircraft is in the shape of a six-bladed plane called Skandakantam, and such aircraft are usually built for Lord Murugan. There is a separate small temple for Lord Vinayagar and Lord Chandesar. Nagar is in a separate room. In the northeast, the Navagraha Bhairava, Sun and Saturn are present.

திருவாரூர் மாவட்டம் திருத்துறைப்பூண்டி வட்டம் பின்னத்தூர் சிவன்கோயில் 

திருத்துறைபூண்டி – முத்துப்பேட்டை சாலையில் 15 கிமி தூரத்தில் உள்ளது இந்த பின்னத்தூர். புன்னை மரத்தை பின்னை மரம் என அழைக்கும் வழக்கம் உள்ளது அதனால் பின்னை மரங்கள் அடர்ந்த ஊர் என்பதை பின்னை மரத்தூர் பின்னத்தூர் ஆகி இருக்கலாம். 

 பின்னத்தூர் முன்னொருகாலத்தில் குதம்பை சித்தர் பல சிவ தலங்களை தரிசித்து வரும் வழியில்,  பின்னத்தூர் வருகிறார்.  இவ்வூரில் அப்போது சிவன் கோயில் இல்லாததை கண்டு மனம் வருந்தி இறைவனை வேண்ட இறைவன் அவருக்கு கயிலாய காட்சி தருகிறார். இந்த காட்சியை கண்டு மனமுருகி இறைவனை இங்கேயே வீற்றிருக்க வேண்டுகிறார். இறைவனும் அழகிய லிங்க வடிவில் சுயம்புவாக அங்கே அமர்கிறார். இவர்தான் இத்தல இறைவன் கயிலாய நாதர். 

அம்பிகை இல்லாத குறையை போக்க குதம்பை சித்தர் ஒரு புஷ்பத்தை வைத்து பார்வதி தேவியை  ஆவாகனம் செய்கிறார். அவர்தான் இத்தல அம்பிகை புஷ்பாலேஸ்வரி.

 காலப்போக்கில் விநாயகர் முருகன் என பரிவார தெய்வங்கள் ஊர் மக்களால் உருவாக்கப்பட்டு இங்கே பிரதிஷ்டை செய்யப்பட்டன. இக்கோயிலின் வடபுறம் உள்ள குளம் குதம்பை சித்தரால் உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. சுயம்பு மூர்த்தி என்பதால் சகல தோஷநிவர்த்தி தலம். பூக்கள் சம்ந்தப்பட்ட தொழில் செய்வோர் இத்தல அம்பிகையை வழிபட்டு வியாபார அபிவிருத்தி அடையலாம்,

 கிழக்கு நோக்கிய திருக்கோயில், முகப்பில் ராஜகோபுரமில்லை, அம்மையப்பனின் அழகிய சுதை வேலைப்பாடுகள் மட்டுமே உள்ளன. குளக்கரை ஒட்டி சிறிய கோயில் ஒன்றில் விநாயகர் உள்ளார். 

 இறைவன் கிழக்கு நோக்கிய திருக்கோயில் கொண்டு உள்ளார். அம்பிகை  தெற்கு நோக்கிய கருவறை கொண்டுள்ளார். இறைவன் எதிரில் தனி மண்டபத்தில் நந்தி பலிபீடம் உள்ளது. பிரகார வலமாக வரும்போது தென்முகன் ஒரு கோஷ்டத்திலும் வடபுறம் துர்க்கை ஒரு கோஷ்டத்திலும் உள்ளனர். 

கருவறை கட்டுமானம் சோழர் கால கட்டுமானம் பல திருப்பணிகள் கண்டபின்னர் சில மாற்றங்களை கண்டுள்ளது. விமானம் ஸ்கந்தகாந்தம் எனப்படும் அறுபட்டை வடிவில் உள்ளது சிறப்பு, இது போன்ற விமானம் வழக்கமாக முருகனுக்கு அமைக்கப்படுவது ஆகும்.  விநாயகர் முருகன் சண்டேசர் இவர்களுக்கு தனித்தனி சிற்றாலயம் அமைந்து உள்ளது.  தனி மாடம் ஒன்றில் நாகர் உள்ளார். வடகிழக்கில் நவகிரகம் பைரவர் சூரியன் சனி உள்ளனர்.  

சித்தர்கள் வழிபட்ட லிங்க மூர்த்தியை வழிபடுதல் மிகசிறந்த பலன்களை தரும்.
