History: This beautiful temple was constructed in the early 18th century by Seth Jai Ram Paliwal. He was a renowned jeweler of Jaipur. Its name, translating to "Pearl Hill" in English, reflects the temple's beauty and spiritual significance.

The Moti Dungri Temple's origins are veiled in tales of legend and myth. Among the numerous legends surrounding the temple, one of the most renowned revolves around its primary deity, Lord Ganesha. According to this legend, the idol of Lord Ganesha, initially intended for a different location, encountered an obstacle while being transported, unable to progress beyond the hill where the temple now resides. Interpreting this event as a divine indication, the then Maharaja of Jaipur made the decision to construct the temple precisely at this significant site.
