 At the glorious place of Tiruchendur, 3 km away from Tiruchendur bus station, Kulakarai Senthilandavar temple has started its work on behalf of Kulakarai Tirupupugazh Chitrasabha and it is very special to be able to walk on the threshold of the temple.

 The Kumara Sashti Festival in the month of Ani of this congregation has been celebrated for 85 years with devotees from all over the world.  As the temple has fallen into disrepair, restoration work is underway.

*Sthala Varalaru:*

 In 1937, by the grace of Tiruchenthilandavar, Trisutandar Sankara Narayana Dikshitar and Bhakta Sironmani Mookanna, a Thiruvariya, started the Muruganananda Sangeetha Tirupupkazh Sabha in Tiruchendur and spread the glory of Lord Muruga to the world by singing the praises of Lord Arunagirinath.  On that occasion, Justice Thirupukal T. M. Krishnasamy Iyer donated Rs 1001/ to the council.  They bought 33 cents of land in Appanam and built a building on it, and have been celebrating Shukla Paksha Kumara Sashti every year for 85 years.  A 6 inch tall silver idol is consecrated and worshiped as the source of this church.  Just as Senthilandavar resides on the eastern border of Thiruchendur, he himself is living and conducting Arultsi as Kulakarai Senthilandavar in Theppakulakkarai, the western border of the town.

 In 2021, Sankara Narayana Dikshitar, local devotees, Tirupupugazh devotees and Muruga devotees from all over the world decided to build a Moolavar Vigragam and sanctum sanctorum in Kulakarai Sabha at this place just like the beach sentilandavar, worshiping Muruga, and today the temple building is being built on a great scale.  Moolavar, Utsavar and sub-deities have been ordained by the continuous offerings of the devotees.  If the devotees come forward with more material and offerings, soon the Kumbabhishem dates will be marked with Lord Muruga's blessings.

 Apart from the old moolavar silver idol, Lord Muruga, Valli, Deivanai, Ganesha, Lord Shiva stone idols, Aimbon Utsavar Valli, Deivanai are there.

பெருமை மிக்க திருச்செந்தூர் தலத்தில், திருச்செந்தூர் பேருந்து நிலையத்திலிருந்து 3 கிமீ தொலைவில் குளக்கரை திருப்புகழ் சித்ரசபை சார்பில் குளக்கரை செந்திலாண்டவர் கோவில் திருப்பணிகள் ஆரம்பித்து செவ்வனே நடந்து முடியும் தறுவாயில் இருப்பது செந்தூர் செந்திலாண்டவரின் அருளால்,சிறப்பம்சாகும்.

இந்த சபையின் ஆனி மாதத்தில் வரும் குமார சஷ்டி பெருவிழாவினை உலகெங்கும் உள்ள திருப்புகழ் பக்தர்களுடன் 85 ஆண்டுகளாக சிறப்பாக கொண்டாடப்பட்டு வருகிறது. கோவில் சிதிலமடைந்ததால், திருப்பணிகள் நடைபெற்று வருகிறது.    

*தல வரலாறு:*

1937-ல் திருச்செந்திலாண்டவரின் அருளாசியால், திரிசுதந்திரர் சங்கர நாராயண தீட்சிதரும், பக்த சிரோன்மணி மூக்கண்ணா என்ற திருவாரியாரும் திருச்செந்தூரில் முருகானந்த சங்கீத திருப்புகழ் சபையை ஆரம்பித்து முருகப்பெருமானின் பெருமையை உலகுக்கு உணர்த்த ஆருணகிரிநாத பெருமானின் தருப்புகழை பாடி பரப்பினர். அந்தசமயத்தில் நீதிபதி திருப்புகழ் T. M. கிருஷ்ணசாமி ஐயர் இச்சபைக்கு ரூ 1001/ நன்கொடை வழங்கினார். அப்பணத்தில் 33 செண்டி இடம் வாங்கி, அதில் ஒர் கட்டிடம் கட்டி ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் சுக்ல பக்ஷ குமார சஷ்டியை 85 ஆண்டுகளாக மிக சிறப்பாகக் கொண்டாடி வருகின்றனர். இச்சபையில் மூலவராக 6 அங்குல உயர வெள்ளியிலான அழகிய் விக்ரகம் பிரதிஷ்டை செய்யப்பட்டு பூஜிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறார். திருச்செந்தூரின் கிழக்கு எல்லையான கடற்கரையில் செந்திலாண்டவர் வீற்றிருந்து அருளுவது போல ஊரின் மேற்கு எல்லையான தெப்பக்குளக்கரையில் குளக்கரை செந்திலாண்டவராக, அவரே சாநித்தியமாக வீற்றிருந்து அருளட்சி நடத்திவருகிறார்.

2021-ல், சங்கர நாராயண தீட்சிதர், உள்ளூர் பக்தர்கள், உலகெங்கும் உள்ள திருப்புகழ் அடியவர்கள் மற்றும் முருக பக்தர்கள் இவ்விடத்தில் கடற்கரை செந்திலாண்டவர் போலவே மூலவர் விக்ரகம் மற்றும் கருவறையினை குளக்கரை சபையில் கட்ட, முருகனை வணங்கி, தீர்மானித்து இன்று திருக்கோவில் கட்டிடம் சிறந்த அளவில் எழுப்பப்பட்டு வருகிறது. பக்தர்களின் தொடர் காணிக்கையால் மூலவர், உற்சவர், உப தெய்வங்கள் ஆகமவிதிபடி செய்யப்பட்டுவிட்டன. பக்தர்கள் மேலும் பொருள், காணிக்கை செலுத்து முன் வந்தால், விரைவில், முருகப்பெருமானின் ஆசிகளோடு கும்பாபிஷேக தேதிகள் குறிக்கப்படும்.  

தல அமைப்பு:

பழைய மூலவர் வெள்ளி விக்கிரகம் தவிர, முருகப்பெருமான், வள்ளி, தெய்வானை, விநாயகர், சிவபெருமான் கற்சிலைகள், ஐம்பொன் உற்சவர் வள்ளி, தெய்வானை சமேத ஷண்முகப் பெருமான் என அனைவரும் ஆகம விதிகளின் படி உருவாக்கப்பட்டு இருப்பது சிறப்பு. விரைவில் குட முழுக்கு நடைபெற, உலகெங்கும் உள்ள முருகப்பக்தர்களின் தொடர் காணிக்கை அளிக்க வேண்டும் என்பது பக்தர்களின் கோரிக்கை.
