 Arulmigu Vazakkarutheeswarar Temple

 The Lord of this temple became known as the Advocate because the case between the sages and the gods was settled by the Lord Himself.

 Arulmigu Vazhakruttiswarar Temple is located in Central Kanchi, east of Pachaiyappan Boys' High School and south of Gandhisala.

முனிவர்களுக்கும், தேவர்களுக்கும், இடையே ஏற்பட்டு பிரச்சினையை - வழக்கினை இறைவனே நேரில் வந்து தீர்த்து வைத்ததால் இத்தலத்து இறைவன் வழக்கறுத்தீசுவரர் எனப் பெயர் பெற்றார்.

அருள்மிகு வழக்கறுத்தீசுவரர் திருக்கோவில்

அருள்மிகு வழக்கறுத்தீசுவரர் கோவில் மத்திய காஞ்சியில் பச்சையப்பன் ஆண்கள் மேல்நிலைப்பள்ளிக்கு கிழக்கும், காந்திசாலைக்குத் தெற்கிலும் அமைந்துள்ளது.

சுமார் 6 அடி பள்ளத்தில் இத்திருக்கோவிலின் நுழைவு வாயில் அமைந்துள்ளது. நுழைவு வாயிலைக் கடந்து உள்ளே சென்றால் முதலில் உற்சவ மண்டபத்தில் விநாயகரைத் தரிசிக்கலாம்.

அடுத்து, வழக்கறுத்தீசரையும், பராசரேசரையும் தரிசிக்கலாம். இருவரும் கிழக்கு நோக்கிய வண்ணம் அமைந்துள்ளனர். இதில் வழக்கறுத்தீசுவரர் 16 பட்டை லிங்கத்திருவுருக் கொண்டு பெரிய ஆவுடையாருடன் கூடிய இலிங்க ரூபமாக எழுந்தருளியுள்ளார். ஒரே திருத்தலத்தில் 2 சந்நிதிகளைக் கொண்டுள்ள திருத்தலம் இது ஆகும். (கச்சபேசமும் 2 திருக்கோவில்களைக் கொண்டுள்ள திருத்தலம் ஆகும்)

இத்தலத்தில் 1. விநாயகர், 2. வள்ளி தெய்வானை உடனுறை சுப்பிரமணியர், 3. துர்கை, 4. சண்டிகேசுவரர், 5. பைரவர், 6. சூரியன் ஆகியோர் தனித்தனி சந்நிதியில் எழுந்தருளியுள்ளனர்.

ஒரு கற்பகாலத்தில், வாழ்ந்து மறைந்த முனிவர்களுக்கும் தேவர்களுக்கும் வேதத்தில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ள சொல்லான ‘ஸத்’ ‘அஸத்’க்கு பொருள் கொள்வதில் கருத்து வேறுபாடுகள் - சந்தேகம் ஏற்பட்டு மனவருத்தத்தைத் தந்தது.

பொதுவாக ‘ஸத்’ எனப்படுவது அருள் ஞானத்திற்கும், பரம் பொருளுக்கும் பெயர் என்று அறிஞர் பெருமக்கள் கூறுவர். அதே போல் ‘அஸத்’ என்பதற்கு சூனியத்திற்குப் பெயர் என்றும் அறிஞர்கள் கூறுவர்.

இவ்வாறு இரண்டு சொல்லிற்குப் பொருள் அறிந்து கொள்வதில் கருத்து மாறுபாடுகள் ஏற்பட்டதால் தேவர்களும், முனிவர்களும் அதைத் தீர்த்துக் கொள்ள, அப்பொருளுக்கு உண்மையான பொருளினை அறிந்து தெளிவு பெற, அவர்கள் காஞ்சீபுரத்தை அடைந்து சிவலிங்கம் பிரதிட்டை செய்து வழிபட்டு வந்தனர். இவர்களின் பூசையால் மகிழ்ந்த ஈசன், லிங்கத்தினிலிருந்து வெளிப்பட்டு, அவர்களுக்குக் காட்சி கொடுத்தார்.

இறைவனைக் கண்ட தேவர்களும் முனிவர்களும் பலவாறாக அவரைத் துதித்து வழிபட்டனர். அதன் பின்பு இறைவன் அவர்களை நோக்கி என்னை நினைந்து வழிபட்டதின் காரணம் என்ன? என்று கேட்டார். அதற்கு முனிவர்களும், தேவர்களும் ஸத், அஸத் சொல்லுக்கு விளக்கம் அளித்து எங்களுக்குள் எழுந்துள்ள வழக்கினை-பிரச்சினையினைத் தீர்த்து வைக்க வேண்டும் என்று வேண்டிப் பணிந்தனர்.

முனிவர்களுக்கும், தேவர்களுக்கும், இடையே ஏற்பட்டு பிரச்சினையை - வழக்கினை இறைவனே நேரில் வந்து தீர்த்து வைத்ததால் இத்தலத்து இறைவன் வழக்கறுத்தீசுவரர் எனப் பெயர் பெற்றார். வழக்கு விவகாரங்களில் சிக்கி தவிப்பவர்கள் இத்தலத்துக்கு வந்து பரிகார பூஜைகள் செய்து பலன் பெறுகிறார்கள்.

மேலும் இத்தலத்து ஈசனை 16 தீபம் ஏற்றி, 16 முறை வலம் வந்து, 16 வாரம் தொடர்ந்து அன்னதானம் செய்தால் நினைத்தது நிறைவேறும் என்பது ஐதீகம்.
