Kanaka Durga is considered as the guardian deity of Kanchipuram. The Temple is believed to be built in the 19 th Century. The Temple This temple is facing towards east with an entrance arch on the southern side. The entrance arch has stucco images of Goddess Durga flanked by Vinayaga and Lord Murugan with his consorts.
