 Temple info -2917 கோயில் தகவல் -2917 Sundararaja Perumal Temple, Meyyur, Tirukalukundram, Kanchipuram Sundararaja Perumal Temple is dedicated to Hindu God Vishnu located in Meyyur Village of Tirukalukundram Taluk near Chengalpet of Kanchipuram District. The Perumal here is very beautiful in accordance with his name. In olden days, this village is called as Sathyapuri. It is a great temple for marriage prayers. Legends There was a legend that god appeared in the dreams of the village elder that he was there in the river bed. To the people surprise next day they found four Panchaloha Idols on the river bed. Villagers took the Idols and installed in this Temple. The Temple Sundararaja Perumal graces devotees with Sridevi and Bhudevi in standing posture. Vimana of this temple is called as Anandha Vimana.
